In a fifth of our usrah session, we had our first role play presentation from group 1 and group 3.
Group 1 - Introduction to Ihsan
In short, Ihsan is an Arabic term that means "excellence" or "perfection" in a spiritual or moral context. In Islamic philosophy, it is a concept that refers to the highest level of faith and practice, going beyond mere adherence to religious duties (like Islam and Iman) and striving for spiritual perfection and sincerity in one's relationship with God (Allah). Ihsan involves acting with kindness, compassion, and integrity, not just in external actions, but also in one’s inner intentions.
In order to practice ihsan in life , we must seek knowledge and always be mindful that Allah is there to watch our behavior/actions.
Group 3 - Islamic Eschatology
Islamic eschatology refers to the branch of Islamic theology that deals with the study of the end times, the Day of Judgment, and the events that will unfold in the afterlife. It is based on teachings from the Qur'an, the Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad), and the interpretations of scholars.Islamic eschatology provides a detailed view of the final events that will occur before the world ends and the ultimate fate of individuals and the universe.
Conclusion, Islamic eschatology emphasizes accountability, the inevitability of death, and the afterlife. It encourages believers to live righteous lives, stay true to their faith, and constantly seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness in preparation for the final Day of Judgment. It also underscores the importance of belief in the unseen and the ultimate sovereignty of Allah over the fate of humanity and the universe.
